6 REASONS WHY YOU MUST TYPE YOUR LESSON NOTE.

I know typing can generally be difficult. But this is one of those exceptional cases where the gain outweighs the pain. Here are my reasons... 

1. It saves you the stress of recopying lesson notes each academic year. 

2. It is easier to edit and update soft copy materials than its hardcopy counterpart. 

3. You can easily add audio visual materials to your typed notes. 

4. You are a step close to making cool cash via publishing your notes one day. 

5. You will find yourself learning some relevant ICT skills too. 

6. You will never regret doing this. This is the absolute win - win situation.

TEACHERS: TWO THINGS YOU MUST DO THIS SUMMER.

Being a teacher has its pecks too - getting paid to rest for a month, getting paid as you do extra hustling things. 

This year, I have decided to rest awhile before starting my hustle too. But on a second note, I have a feeling some of us will be on hibernating mode all through this holiday period. 

If you belong to this category, permit me to suggest two things you must to do prepare yourself for the next academic session. 

1. Type your notes. If we have an average of 12 weeks in a term and you type a note per week, you may finish an academic year before school resumes. 

2. Learn an ICT skill you must implement next session. Since most schools are setting up projectors, you may consider brushing up your skill on the use of powerpoint. 

Teaching in the 21st century expects and demands a lot of things from us. Pick a skill and give it a shot. You must be in touch with the expectations of our time.

HAPPY EASTER; THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS.

'Cui bono?' What do we stand to benefit?

What is in it for us this Easter tide? With the Alleluia swirling through the air, the grave losing its sting and the cries of victory sounding from every corner you dare to look at?

Raising our loving children is a challenge reserved for the brave, the strong at heart. And we are doing it and a tad successful at that.

The cross is a sure reminder that the end will always be sweet if we pay our dues now.

The cross is a sign that we are conquerors even before the battle kicks off.

It is a symbol that in the end, our perseverance will be rewarded with success.

Cheers to us parents. We are Easter people... Alleluia is our song.
